Abstract

A house owned by Abu Ayyub al-Ansari became well-known in the history of Islam.  It was located in Yasrib — the town where the Prophet went from Makkah. All inhabitants of the town came out to meet the Prophet, and everyone wanted him to stay in his house. In order not to hurt anyone, the Prophet let his camel choose a place to stay. The camel stopped not far from the house of Abu Ayyub, one of the poorest Muslims of Yasrib…
