In the European tradition (except for the Historical School) the economic and moral discourses have existed separately since Adam Smith’s “The Wealth of Nations”. In the Islamic economic thought moral and ethical aspects are a part of economic argumentation. This book — the result of joint efforts of scholars of Iranian secular and religious institutions — gives an opportunity to obtain the first-hand information about this and other distinguishing features of Islamic economy.
The book is intended for experts in economy and a wide range of interested readers.
