Abstract This book represents a revised edition of the well-known “Textbook on the Persian language” (Ivanov, 1999). Abstract The monograph constitutes a biobibliographic reference book of Central Asian poets-adibs of the 16th — first third of the 17th centuries, comprising 577 biographic articles. Biographic information about poets is given together with the examples of their works in Persian, Turki and Arabic, most of which were never published before.
