The Ibn Sina Islamic Culture Research Foundation has announced that the “Islamic philosophy and culture” forum will take place within the framework of the 4th research and practical conference “Shihabeddin Marjani readings. Religious boards as unique self-organized institutions of Russian ummah” on 22 September 2019. The forum was organized by the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, the Russian Mufties Council, the Secretariat of the International Muslim Forum, the Moscow Islamic Institute, the Ibn Sina Islamic Culture Research Foundation with the participation of the Lomonosov Moscow State University and the support of the “Medina” foundation for the support of Islamic culture, science and education.

The forum treats the issue of how the fundamental worldview questions are reflected in the Islamic Culture. Many renowned specialists in Islamic philosophy, culture and art (M. Alavi, A. Valinejad, N.V. Efremova, T.K. Ibrahim, D.V. Mukhetdinov, M.J. Nazarli, R.V. Pskhu, M.L. Reisner, S.S. Safavi, H. Safavi, M.T. Stepanyants) are participating in the forum programme.

The forum will also include the first screening of the documentary “Tochka” (Dot) devoted to Islamic calligraphy. The book “Iranian calligraphy: introduction to the tradition” by Hamid-Reza Kelichkhani will also be presented during the event.

The forum will take place in the “Alpha” hotel in Izmaylovo. (Moscow, Izmaylovskoye roadway, 71, building A) on 22 September 2019 from 10 am to 6.30 pm. Free admission.
