Collection of articles “Sagadeev Readings. The Materials of Scientific Conference” is published with the help of Ibn Sina Foundation and the Research Center of Indian Philosophy and Culture “Purushottama” of the Russian University of Peoples’ Friendship (RUDN).

This collection consists of the materials of the conference “Sagadeev Readings” devoted to the memory of an outstanding Islamic studies scholar, a profound researcher of Sufi Islam, a historian of philosophy, RUDN professor M.M. Al-Janabi (1955-2021). The collection includes articles on history, philosophy and culture of the Islamic World, as well as of two other major world religions – Buddhism and Christianity. 

The book “Sagadeev Readings. The Materials of Scientific Conference” is collected and edited by the doctor of philosophy, the professor, the head of the department of history of philosophy of the faculty of humanitarian and social sciences of the Russian University of Peoples’ Friendship Nour Serikovich Kiribayev. The doctor of philosophy, the professor of the department of history of philosophy of the faculty of humanitarian and social sciences of the Russian University of Peoples’ Friendship, the head of the Research Center of Indian Philosophy and Culture “Purushottama” Rouzanna Vladimirovna Pskhou became an executive editor of the series.
