On Monday, the 29th of January 2024 Ibn Sina Foundation and the Iranian Institute of Philosophy signed a Memorandum on Collaboration Development.

The chiefs of two organizations, Mr. Hadavimoghaddam and Mr. Askar, discussed a possibility of joint work in the area of collection and translation of scientific works and textbooks on different Islamic studies items, as well as a collaboration between cultural centers of Russia and Iran, organizing educational courses. As a result they made a decision to develop partnership.

The history of collaboration between Ibn Sina Foundation and the Iranian Institute of Philosophy began in 2010. During the long years of partnership they edited and published 10 volumes of the annual almanac on Islamic philosophy “Ishraq”. Now a journal under the same title is being published. In December 2023 an advanced training course “Philosophy and Islamic Art” was organized and held for Russian teachers and students in Iran.
